What We Do

Beacon House is a voice for lost, abandoned, or at-risk children in a world so self-absorbed in its accomplishments it has all but forgotten the marginalized. We are child advocates. Beacon House returns hope to hopeless children by helping them to become what Children studying after school at one of our transition housesGod always intended for everyone, to be His children. We accomplish this through education, health, and advocacy for child rights.

While we do operate several transition houses and are seeking to build a Child Development Center, Beacon House is not an orphanage. We work through the legal channels and frameworks of Ghana to bring children back to being healthy and positive contributors to society. Those children who are lost/forgotten/abused are educated, healed, and placed with  families who will raise the child up in the ways of the Lord.
